Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Effective date: August 31, 2026
RMIS Corporation ships construction materials, industrial supplies, rubber tracks, truck parts, and related products throughout the contiguous United States. This policy explains our order-processing, shipping, freight-delivery, and customer-pickup practices.
Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Most in-stock orders are prepared for shipment within one to two business days after payment and order verification.
Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time may begin processing on the following business day. Custom-fabricated products, special-order items, oversized products, and products shipped from partner warehouses may require additional processing time.
Processing and delivery estimates are not guaranteed. If an order is expected to experience a significant delay, RMIS Corporation will contact the customer using the information provided at checkout.
Shipping Area
We ship to commercial, residential, and jobsite addresses within the contiguous United States.
We do not routinely ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, P.O. boxes, or international destinations. Customers requesting delivery outside our standard shipping area should contact RMIS Corporation before placing an order to determine whether delivery is available and obtain a shipping quote.
Shipping Charges
Applicable shipping charges are displayed during checkout based on the products ordered, delivery address, package size and weight, and available delivery method.
Some products may include standard shipping in the advertised price. When shipping is included, this will be indicated on the product page or during checkout. Other products may have shipping calculated separately during checkout.
The total order cost, including applicable shipping charges and taxes, will be shown before the customer submits payment. RMIS Corporation will not substitute a more expensive shipping method without the customer’s authorization.
Delivery to remote locations or locations requiring unusual transportation arrangements—such as delivery by ferry, boat, or aircraft—may not be available through standard checkout. Customers at these locations should contact us before ordering.
Parcel and Freight Shipping
Smaller products may be shipped through parcel carriers such as UPS or FedEx. Heavy, oversized, or palletized products may be shipped by a less-than-truckload freight carrier or delivered using RMIS Corporation’s transportation resources.
The shipping method is determined by the product’s size, weight, destination, and available carrier service.
Freight shipments may require:
-
A delivery appointment;
-
A valid daytime telephone number;
-
Someone to be present to accept and inspect the shipment;
-
A commercial loading dock or forklift; or
-
Residential, jobsite, limited-access, or liftgate service when applicable.
Customers must provide accurate delivery information during checkout. If special freight services are needed, the customer should select them during checkout when available or contact RMIS Corporation before placing the order.
Additional charges caused by inaccurate delivery information, an unavailable recipient, a refused shipment, or an undisclosed need for special delivery service may be the customer’s responsibility when permitted by law and agreed upon before redelivery.
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery time depends on product availability, order-processing requirements, carrier service, and destination.
Parcel shipments generally arrive within several business days after leaving the warehouse. Freight shipments may require additional transit time and scheduling with the carrier.
Any delivery date provided by RMIS Corporation or a carrier is an estimate rather than a guarantee. Weather, carrier delays, road restrictions, natural disasters, labor disruptions, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.
Tracking and Delivery Updates
When tracking information is available, it will be sent to the email address or telephone number provided with the order. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after a carrier accepts the shipment.
Freight carriers may contact the customer directly to arrange a delivery appointment. Customers are responsible for providing a working telephone number and responding to carrier scheduling requests.
Freight Inspection and Damage
Customers should inspect every parcel or freight shipment promptly upon delivery.
For visibly damaged freight:
-
Photograph the shipment, packaging, pallet, and damaged areas before unloading when possible.
-
Describe the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.
-
Keep all packaging and shipping materials.
-
Contact RMIS Corporation as soon as possible.
Signing a freight delivery receipt without noting visible damage may affect the ability to pursue a carrier claim. Concealed damage should be reported promptly after discovery.
If RMIS Corporation shipped an incorrect product or the product arrived damaged, contact us so we can evaluate the issue and provide appropriate instructions.
Refused and Undeliverable Shipments
Customers should not refuse a shipment solely because its outer packaging appears damaged. Instead, note the damage on the delivery receipt, accept the shipment when reasonably possible, and contact RMIS Corporation.
A customer may be responsible for return freight, redelivery charges, storage fees, or other carrier charges resulting from:
-
An incorrect or incomplete delivery address;
-
Failure to schedule or accept delivery;
-
Refusal of an otherwise correct and usable shipment; or
-
Failure to disclose required residential, limited-access, jobsite, or liftgate service.
These charges will not apply when the refusal or delivery failure resulted from an error by RMIS Corporation or when otherwise prohibited by law.
Customer Pickup
Customer pickup may be available for eligible products at designated RMIS Corporation locations. Pickup availability, location, and preparation time are shown on the product page or during checkout when available.
Customers should wait for confirmation that the order is ready before traveling to a pickup location. A valid photo ID and order confirmation may be required. Products may ship from different warehouses, so the pickup location may vary by item.
Separate Shipments
Products in the same order may be fulfilled from different locations and may arrive in separate shipments. Separate tracking information will be provided when available. Customers will not be charged duplicate shipping fees beyond the amount disclosed during checkout unless they later request a change to the order or delivery service.
Address Changes and Order Modifications
Contact RMIS Corporation immediately if a shipping address or order needs to be changed. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after processing has begun.
Address corrections or delivery changes requested after shipment may result in carrier fees. Any additional charge will be disclosed when possible before the requested change is completed.
Returns
Shipping-related return costs, eligibility requirements, exclusions, and refund procedures are governed by our Refund Policy. Customers should review that policy before purchasing custom, fabricated, oversized, clearance, or special-order products.
